The base and super top-up policy under group health insurance covers the cost of hospitalization (more than 24 hours) for expenses incurred under different heads mentioned below, and as are reasonable and necessarily incurred thereof by or on behalf of such insured person, but not exceeding the family sum insured in
aggregate:
a. Room Charges and Nursing expenses combined up to the limits specified for room rent
b. Surgeon, Anesthetist, Medical Practitioner, Consultant, Specialists Fees,
c. Anaesthesia, Blood, Oxygen, Operation Theatre Charges, Surgical Appliances, Medicines & Drugs, Dialysis, Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, Artificial Limbs, and Cost of prosthetic devices implanted during
surgical procedures like a pacemaker, relevant laboratory/Diagnostic test, x-ray, etc.
Note: Treatments done in INDIA only will be payable.
Only reasonable and customary expenses necessary for the treatment of a condition are payable.
