No, you cannot transfer funds using any mode other than your bank for investing in international stocks. RBI mandates that outward remittances for investments should be through Authorised Dealers(AD) only, and only banks registered in India are registered as Authorised Dealers. This also means that, if you are an Indian resident, you cannot use Transferwise, Paypal, or other money transfer services to fund your account
