Non-Residents can set-up a Kuvera account and invest in Mutual Funds in India. You will find the information here useful
To set-up your Kuvera investment account, you will need
- Your KYC details should reflect your non-resident status in the centralized KYC database. You can check the same at this link by entering your PAN.
- A valid NRE account [or an NRO account] in a bank that supports Kuvera for transactions to be processes seamlessly.
- Declarations required in India: FATCA declaration: We will take care of this.
If 1 and 2 are in place, please proceed with account set-up and select your Residential Status as Non Resident. If you are an OCI or a PIO then please select the appropriate option and proceed accordingly.
