Portfolio turnover or portfolio churn is a measure of how frequently assets within a fund are bought and sold. 100% Portfolio turnover indicates that the entire portfolio was changed in one year. 200% would thus mean that it was done twice over in the same year indicating a high churning. Lower the number, better it is.
